Yes — we recommend it before first use of any new skincare product. Apply a small amount to your inner forearm or behind the ear, and wait 24–48 hours. If no irritation appears, the product should be suitable for regular use. If you have very sensitive skin, a diagnosed skin condition, or are pregnant or nursing, check with your physician or dermatologist before introducing new products.

We recommend using your product within 12 months after opening — unopened, the shelf life is 18 months. You won’t find an open-jar symbol on the packaging, as it’s only used for products lasting 30 months or more; instead, each bottle and jar has a batch number on the bottom. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and keep lids tightly closed.
